Salina & James
Salina and James had such an elegant wedding day at The Harris Building in Grand Rapids MI. With a stop by the beautiful iconic blue bridge for portraits, and using the unique spaces around their wedding venue added historic charm to the overall vibe to their wedding day and their wedding photos. We went to the iconic Blue Bridge which is a hotspot with some history. It is formerly the Grand Rapids & Indiana Railroad bridge. The original railroad bridge was built in 1868; its replacement, built in 1874, was destroyed in 1883 during the great log jam. The current bridge, the oldest railroad bridge in the city, was built in 1892. Trains crossing this bridge traveled between Muskegon and Mackinaw City.
These newlyweds were very intentional on spending time together, having a private first look and private first dance. It was very sweet and sentimental. Those two words could truly be used to describe their wedding day start to finish, showcasing just how important these two are to one another. With an amazing team of vendors and such helpful coordination, their wedding went smoothly, and it was truly a day they got to fully be present for and enjoy with their families and friends.
Here are some special moments that I would like to highlight from their wedding at The Harris Building. It was truly an honor to document their love, their journey, and their joy!
