You don't have to worry about posing or having to look directly at the camera, I'm a pro at bringing out genuine laughs and captivating glances with an emotive touch. All of my clients receive a mix of candids, timeless & fun portraits and a handful of artful moments to move you through your gallery. FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day! And since I offer engagement sessions, you'll know me on your wedding day! I'll help you organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights.. On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm in Grand Rapids, MI and yes I love to travel! If your wedding location is 2 hours or more away from Grand Rapids, I ask for a safe clean hotel room for the night of. I can travel up to 30 miles from Grand Rapids, MI for all other sessions with no travel fee.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 5 MONTHS (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and you also get the printing rights to your images! I try to give you many sneak peeks shortly after your wedding day to help the wait :)
Is it okay for other people to be taking photos while you do?
I know that some of the best shots are taken by friends and family. Although I will always prefer "Unplugged Weddings," I only ask that while we're doing private portraits, we only bring you and your wedding party. (Or whoever else might be on the party bus!) This gives the you guys a chance to relax and be alone with me for more intimate shots. For family posed portraits, we stay relaxed, so others can feel free to take images behind me.
Can I give you a list of specific shots?
If you are happy with the poses and styles you see here on my website, we're a good fit.
If you are looking for a photographer to go off of a Pinterest board, I may not be the photographer for you. I am for the bride who wants to trust us and leave it to the professionals.
That all being said, I do love wishlists and sharing your vision with me, but cannot guarantee all shots on them.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payment plans are available for ALL wedding packages :) You only pay 20% to reserve your date [as well as a signing my contract].
